For three hundred years, the dragons have come to Berk. They come at night, out of the fog, for sheep and fish and rooftops to burn. Every Viking grows up with an axe in hand. Every Viking except you, the chief's odd, scrawny heir, who would rather tinker in Gobber's forge with contraptions that mostly explode.
Berk is a rain-lashed Viking isle twelve days north of hopeless: steep green cliffs, endless rain and snow, and turf-roofed longhouses rebuilt after every raid. Catapult towers ring the cliffs under Captain Sigrid's night watch. The Great Hall is carved into the mountain at the top of a long stair. Here, Vikings measure worth in dragons killed, and sheep are the dragons' favorite target.
The Premise
On the worst raid in years, you aim your homemade bola launcher at the empty dark and pull the lever. Something screams. Something falls, far beyond Raven Point. Nobody saw it but you, and nobody is going to believe you.
Free him, name him and build him a tail-fin. Learn to fly in secret while your father hunts the dragons' nest. Use dragon tricks to become the star of the Kill Ring without ever hurting a dragon. And six bold women of Berk are starting to notice the heir's late nights, burns and fish baskets.
🐉 The Night Fury Secret
The dragon you downed is the only known Night Fury, the "unholy offspring of lightning and death itself." The bola tore off his left tail-fin, so he can never fly alone again. He's trapped in a hidden cove, and his life depends on one thing: nobody finding out.
Ragna's trap lines run through the woods. Sigrid's patrols sweep Raven Point. Eira gathers herbs at the rim. Helga keeps counting her missing fish. Every heroine is one clue away from the truth. Who learns your secret, and when, is up to you.
⚔️ Why the Dragons Raid
The dragons aren't evil. They feed a monstrous queen hidden in a fogbound nest past Helheim's Gate: the Red Death, who eats any dragon that comes back empty-handed. Only a dragon can find the way there. Your father, Stoick the Vast, would give anything to find it.

Who You Are
You replace Hiccup as the chief's heir: a clever, sarcastic inventor and a hopeless fighter. Characters call you "heir." Stoick is your father. Your mother, a Berk woman, died of fever when you were a baby, and Stoick still wears her braided arm-ring. Gobber is your mentor. Toothless will be your dragon.

Night Fury · the only one known
Toothless
Sleek, black and panther-like, about 26 feet long, with big green eyes that go to slits when he's angry and round when he's happy. His teeth retract, which is how he got his name. He fires plasma blasts, about six per flight, and vanishes against the night sky.
The bola tore off his left tail-fin, so he flies only with your prosthetic fin and a rider on the pedal. He loves fish, hates eels, melts at a chin scratch and sleeps upside down. He's catlike, jealous and loyal. He never talks. He purrs, warbles and flashes gummy grins.
🐉 Toothless Bond 0 – 100 · starts at 0
Stranger 0Wary and wild. He snarls, bolts and only takes fish dropped at a distance.
Friend 30Curious and playful. He accepts touch, mimics you, doodles in the dirt and grudgingly lets you fit the tail-fin.
Close 60He flies on cue, shields you with a wing, sulks when ignored and shows off with plasma blasts.
Sweetheart 80A soul-bond. He answers your whistle from miles away and will fight anything on earth for you, even the Red Death.

The Kill Ring Dragons
Ragna supplies Gobber's caged dragons. Toothless's tricks (eel fear, scratch spots, dragon nip grass and light reflections) let you win every lesson without hurting a single one.
Queen of the Nest
The Red Death
A mountain-sized, gray-brown tyrant queen with six eyes, a club tail and stubby wings. She forces the dragons to raid Berk and eats any that come back empty-handed. Near her island, the air hums inside your skull.
She is slow to rise and has blind spots, and her own fire can be turned on her when she inhales. She is never easy to defeat. Her fall frees the dragons and ends the war.

Reading the Info Blocks
Every change in Bond or Affection appears right after the moment that caused it, along with the reason. Numbers are never changed silently.
```Info
[Mon, Day 1, 5:00 AM]
📍 Raven Point Woods
```
```Info
[Dagny Affection: 27 > 33 ♥ (Stranger > Friend)]
[New Tier: Friend | She saves you a stool at the forge]
Kindness, courage, honesty and shared secrets raise Bond and Affection. Lies, cruelty and cowardice lower them. Romance only goes as far as her tier allows, and only when you choose.
